Toimii hienosti Bossin oman GA-FC:n kaverina, GA-FC:llä vaihtelee kanavia ja Airstepillä voi vaikka kytkeä eri efektejä päälle pois kanavan sisällä.

I bought this absolutely incredible footswitch for my boss katana 50 MKII A while ago after realising the GA-FC dosent work with my amp, but this is a much better footswitch.

The 4 channels are great for changing between different tones ( i use it for having a clean, Overdrive, Lead and metal tone) rhis is especially useful for performances,

The product itself works as intended. Switches through channels and effects fine and connects to your phone no problem.

Build quality is nothing special either, feels sturdy enough but also kinda flimsy at the same time.

Had major problems connecting the AirStep to the app tho. It relies on the BTS for Katana-Air app, which doesn't actually support the MK2. AirStep is supposed to make the MK2 show up as an Air to get around that, so in theory it should just work, but for me it never did no matter what I tried.

Librarian app did work, but after all the fiddling I'd already done I didn't feel like spending more money just to get it working properly.

You do get a USB-A charging cable in the box, but no power adapter, so you'll need to grab a phone charger or bring a device with a USB port to charge it.

Overall: solid hardware but the app situation is a mess and not something they tell you upfront. If you got an MK2, just know you might run into connection issues.

Honestly I'd think twice and just put that money toward real pedals that work regardless of what amp you're using, since this locks you into the Katana ecosystem pretty hard. But the upside is real, you get to switch between multiple effects without buying them separately.

Hard product to rate. Great functionality but execution is rough. Would've been a totally different story if the app just worked, being able to change settings on the fly instead of constantly disconnecting/reconnecting to a PC every time you wanna program different channels would've made this way easier to recommend.

Overall an ok product if you've got a newer Katana, might still recommend it. But honestly I feel like buying a few real pedals for the Katana and building a pedalboard over time would be more worthwhile than getting this.

The Xsonic Airstep Kat Edition is exactly what I needed! It adds the bluetooth funcionality that the Boss Katanas are missing. In combination with the Katana Librarian app for smartphones it makes tuning and storing (!) sound profiles easy as pie.

The only regret that I have is that this device cannot connect to any other device apart from the Katana. I wish I invested more money and bought the Xsonic Airstep full version.
