Versatile box of magic
While I bought this pedal to serve as a metal overdrive (in front of a high-gain amp), I was greeted with awesome selection of other tones.
The smooth settings seems to act much like a tube screamer, which is always useful.
The crunch setting just gives you an incredibly smooth and saturated lead tone, and interestingly it can also nail that Boss HM-2 style chainsaw metal tone in front of a high gain sound.
The bright setting has a good Marshall style hard rock tone, and also useful as metal OD because of its brightness and low cut. But maybe not enough low cut for tight modern metal tones in my opinion.
