Quality to the maximum!
Springloaded butterfly latches, springloaded handles, stop-hinges, ballcorners that can -and will- hit you where you won't like it but it will not be pointy! You can sit on it easily, loads of room inside.
No cons! I mean, it's a box but a damn good one!

Build a flightcase

We bought this case to transport some items that we had made and need to be looked after hopefully for years. The box was very good value. We lined it with foam - an easy job - spray glue and foam and ended up with a superb custome built flightcase. Ordering a similar bespoke job woudl have been far more expensive. Good points - sturdy, exactly as described. Bad points - none really - There were a few rough internal edges whcih were irrelevant since we foam lined it. Have used it at a few gigs - metal hardware seems fine. I guess if I jumped up and down on it for a few minutes I could break it - do not intend to test this. Does the job.

Good for storage, not for everyday transporting

I use it as a really big case for storage of speakers. It's really simple, but also really cheap. That's why I wouldn't recommend it for heavy lifting and moving... I think it's not really up for that.

These accessory cases by Thon are very good value for your money, they are very well built using strong angle which is rivited together through the ply wood to produce a very ridged structure. The handles are recessed and very strong as are the burst proof butterfly catches. All very road worthy indeed, well recommended.
