Just amazing bass

I first ordered the rockabilly bass but ended up returning it because the quality wasn?t what I expected. But this: just wow! The bass is just stunning and the finish is top notch. Really a no brainer at current price (dropped bout 100¤ few weeks ago).

Bass is easy to play for beginner. It has also got some compliments from my teacher and luthier as well. Neck is bit thick.

I replaced the stock strings immediately with Evah Pirazzi slaps so can?t comment them.

Sound is loud so if you are expecting more quiet practice instrument this won?t help you. Sound might lack bit deep end but other than that it is as loud as full sized instruments.

Only thing I didn?t like on this was the end pin. It?s quite short, heavy and locking is loose. I got warned about that and got a replacement one when I placed my order (about 25¤) so no hard feelings on that.

Thomann'in 3/4 Slim Line Bass on ensimmäinen 'läskibassoni'.
Otin samalla säädettävän tallan sekä paremmat kielet jousiosaston suositusten perusteella. Basso toimitettiin virheettömänä, hyvin pakattuna ja valmiiksi asennettuna. Nostamalla talla ylös ja virittämällä kielet soitin oli soittovalmis. Bassossa on erinomainen soittotuntuma sekä voimakas ja kaunis ääni, joka sopii hyvin soittamaani helppoon vanhaan jazz -ja fox musiikkiin. Suosittelen.

Amazing quality for the money

This is a real find. Don't be fooled into thinking this is a cheap bass because the price is low, it's a fantastic instrument that plays really well and looks lovely.

First of all, yes it;s a laminate, but the grain on the top is straight and the flame in the sides and back is lovely to look at. The finish is really good too, smooth and even gloss.

The neck has a semi-matte, natural finish on the back, and the one complaint I have is the fingerboard join was a bit rough to the touch.

While the bass is slim-bodied it has terrific tone with no dead spots of wolf tones, it plays easily (beautifully set up by Thomann, thank you!) and looks beautiful.
