Dead as a dodo
I bought this to my (ex) wife as a Christmas gift. Although it's made of wood it feels and sounds like plastic. The overall sound is quite dead. I don't know how else to describe it. The strings just don't resonate well with the body. So after our divorce I'm glad that this cello stayed at her place.
