I got like 8 of these bowls from different notes. Rightly tune and sounds really nice. However with this size, I find it is hard to play. I prefer at least 10" bowl, really much easier to strike with the mallet.
It comes with a rubber mallet which is easily get dirty. I dont like the mallet but the bowl is great.
Play this bowl with the Meinl rubber ball mallet would generate less friction in sound.
