These work as designed. But they do not seem to last long if you keep them in place. Would recommend removing the mic every evening if you intend to use this.

Ho scritto al supporto di Thomann per sapere le misure del prodotto ma, testuali parole, loro non avevano modo di misurarle.
Dunque, lo scrivo qui in caso qualcuno ne avesse bisogno: questo cordoncino elastico ha un diametro di 9 cm, il che vuol dire che il perimetro è di 28,26 cm!

Use it for U87 chock mount

I use this cord to replace the expensive original elastic cord on a chock mount of a Neumann U87 and M149. It is a tight fit, but does the job perfectly.

Perfect replacement

I have a large diaphragm U87 type condenser mic which I've owned for over twenty years. While it still does its job nicely, the elastic cords for its shockmount were completely worn; dangerously so. I ordered these and they are the perfect replacement for the old ones. In fact, I feel they're even better because, while fitting nicely, they're a bit thicker than the original ones, so less flimsy and hence less prone to move. It also means they're a bit tighter, which also helps to keep the spider in place without sacrificing its vibration prevention ability.
