Taylor Saddle Bone Wave RH

Perfect bone version to replace the plastic saddle.

In my case I did sand sharp corners from the saddle to be comfortable and I also polished it.
-So this is why one star missing. Saddle is just as sharp on the corners as the plastic one.
I also had to sand it slightly thinner, because it did not fit into the slot. Original plastic saddle was slightly loose in that same slot so in this case this bone saddle is big improvement (saddle needs to be slightly tight in saddle slot, it improves tone and intonation).
And, for my own preference I did sand this new bone saddle slightly lower. But only 0,3 - 0,5mm, so nothing major.

But the major thing is, any sound improvements?
Of course, who likes and what.
In my case 312ce 12-fret V-Class, with this bone saddle has now a bit clearer and focused sound. The bone saddle seems to improve in clarity, attack and volume.
-Not much. My guitar did not ended up to be overly bright like most Taylors, but this bone saddle did remove slightly muddy sound what I was hearing before.

If you are not capable to work with a bone saddle, or have any experience in them I would highly recommend to take your Taylor and bone saddle to luthier!
