It is very stable and makes no noise when you put it together. Metal parts and connecting screws are solid.The playing position is weird. The chair is relatively high and the foot bar is too high. When you use the foot bar your knee is in your jaw and you would have to fit a guitar in your lap too. If you dont use the foot bar the guitar slides down your leg because of the chair height. (I am 168 cm) Ideally you would want your knee to be close to 90 degree angle when playing to hold the guitar firmly in your lap and your knee also would not be too high. Uncomfortable position and makes your ass hurt too! One thing I noticed that the chair makes your butt sweat. It is hot! I ended up taking the plasticky vinyl seat cover off. The chair thickness ring around seat plate attached to metal is made of heavy cardboard type material with thick styrofoam filler center to make up the chair thickness. There is only a little bit of soft material on top of that. This makes the chair hot and hard to sit on. What I ended up doing was drilling new holes for the footbar lowering it about 13 cm. Then I removed the seat cover and thinned down the seat thickness by sawing the cardboard ring around the chair and removed the styrofoam filler inside that. Then I put soft foam material to the seat plate and covered it with genuine leather. With some customisation and a lot of work.. it is now an exellent studio and live chair for acoustic guitar! Please design these things better! You could also put more holes in straight legs and let the user decide the foot bar height according to his / hers own height/ preference.
