For the price it is amazing!
I've used DW5000 and DW9000 pedals for the last decade, but wanted to switch to some other brand and model. Purely based on visual looks I decided to switch to Tama's Iron Cobra - with absolutely no regrets! For me Iron Cobra compares even to the DW ones, particularly in terms of velocity - which is especially amazing with regards to the price.
Pros:
- The pedal is light so it's very comfortable with fast beats
- At the same time it is quite sturdy so I'm not afraid I'll break it
- Visually very nice looking
Cons:
- The pedal keeps getting detached from the bass drum, so I have to put it back two-three times per practice (however, it might have to do with my bass drum rather than the pedal!)
