I wanted to have a tremolo with option for harmonic and normal tremolos. I tried a couple of alternatives, but in the end chose to buy this. It is simple to use with just two knobs and a select switch. Don’t know if it’s true, but I think there is a change in sound when you select the brownface tremolo. To me it has a preamp type of effect as well. Brownface tremolo gives you smoother and darker response as the blackface mode has more sparkle to it. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants quality sounds and build. Wis it would have come with the older Brownface-type knobs.
