Perfect for smaller snares!

I'm trying to find a nice way of saying but I'll come out and say it - I'm both a bit short and a bit fat, so I REALLY struggle with a 14" snare. As a result, I've used this stand with 12" and 13" snares and it works really well thanks to being 'extra low' - as you've probably realised with a smaller snare you have to move the basket in a bit so naturally it sits a little higher. Not a problem with the Sonor!

It's nicely built, the plating feels good quality and it's very sturdy - I don't find myself worrying about it giving out, so I think it'll give years of excellent service.
