I have color coded all my mic cables with these. The cable itself is just what the name says highflex and very good to stage, joy to handle and very sturdy.

So I have just ordered 100 meters of the stuff to fully replace all of my XLRs

Eventually XLRs get broken, stolen or thrown onto the pile to be re-soldered (but who ever gets round to that?!). With a wedding coming up where I needed to run my full QSC k12 PA with monitors, sub, eqs and two speakers I needed all of my cables in order so it was time to take the plunge.

Because this cable is Highflex it feels amazing and folds really nicely. It is very forgiving to those people who have no idea how to coil a cable properly and doesn't kink up forever.

A lot of XLRs get covered in this dry powder stuff and after coiling up a 100 meteres your hands get dried out. This cable seems to be exempt from that and my hands are only moderately grubby after a gig.

Sound wise they sound great. I swear my pa sounded better but its impossible to tell really. The cable is robust and clean sounding and none of the cables failed the first time I used them.

I decided to go all purple this time because it is a dark colour and who else has purple cables?! I will still be putting some bright orange electrical tape on the ends to make sure I know its mine.

I will also be using these cables in the studio with a variety of Dynamic and Condensor microphones and i prefer these over all of my other cables.

Pros:
Pretty cheap compared to buying pre-made cables
High quality
Feels amazing in the hands
Coils well
Looks cool
Good deal when you buy lots
Sounds awesome

Cons:
Takes a while to solder up

If you want to upgrade your cables or get something that will last a long time then get this stuff. It's half the price of the Van Damme stuff and sounds just as good!
