Great mic cable

This is a really great mic cable and it's really flexible. The "SW" version has no separator between the two counterspiraling winds of shielding, which should be the normal choice for most people. The other version has a separator between the two spirals so you can either solder them both to pin1 normally or solder one shield to pin1 and the other to the plug casing for an independent chassis ground - this can be useful if you have the option to lift the ground from all of the equipment you're using, but will generally cause more problems than it fixes in ordinary use, and is usually unnecessary unless you have an explicit noise problem.

Very good quality cable

I bought this cable as I was after the best quality cable I could find without spending ridiculous money. I buy into the opinion that once you reach a certain quality then you don't get anything substantial for extra outlay when it comes to cable.

I've always liked Sommer cable and it seems to be one of the better options you can get in Europe. It's well constructed, easy enough to work with and well insulated with double screening. I use the leads I made on sound for location video shoots and it holds up to all the trials that that can bring.

My only gripe is that the cable doesn't feel that flexible which means I have to could it with a large diameter - not a problem for me but could frustrate some folks.

This is a very good cable for the price. I bought this cable for creating brand new monitor cables in my home studio. I had some old cables installed and I had problems with noises and hums (very low, but I want zero noises and maximum quality). I have eliminated every hum and interference with this cable, noiseless and with a good construction. Good feedback during the soldering and grips the stain very well. The external rubber is solid and I would consider to use this cable also in a live concert environment.
