I have 3 of these installed on my Gypsy Jazz guitars. I needed something simple that required no guitar mod and would help me amplify my guitars without too much hassle/processing.

These I use only for amplification, the sound is NOT quacky (very important), the pickups take the sound from the body, close to the bridge at both edges.

Depending on your guitar you need to install the piezos in different locations to get the best from the instrument.

These are passive and send very little signal. You'll need a Pre amp. I've got a Harley Benton Pre amp and I'm golden.

De Shadow SH712 is gemakkelijk en snel te monteren op u instrument.
Als men de 2 pickups op de juiste plaats vast kleeft , krijg je een vollere en rijkere klank .
Wel moet je een jack van goede kwaliteit gebruiken , niet alle jacks passen even goed...!?

when it comes to contact microphones you can understand why some of them are so expensive and some are so cheap. These were basically unusable for me since the noise floor get unbearable when you drive them to reasonable level. I don't know what causes it but maybe cheap material...

Used this for a banjo, low output due to it being passive but once hooked to a eq pedal and boost works great
