Bin extra zu Thomann gefahren, um "meine" Cajon auszusuchen. Wichtig ist mir die Klangvielfalt bei diesen "Kastenschlagzeugen" - und da hat die Schlagwerk CP 4006 Night Burl alles geboten, was ich gesucht habe - und ich habe (fast) alle ausprobiert (bei Thomann stehen ca. 50 Cajons zum Ausprobieren bereit)! Auf der Klangplatte volle runde Basssounds und klare Snare-Sounds mit deutlichen Unterschieden je nach Anschlagsstelle. Das Dämpfen mit dem Fuß (Schuhe aus-, frische Socken anziehen!) liefert weitere neue (und interessante) Klänge. Der helle, scharfe Sound der Seitenteile (!) kontrastiert wundervoll zur Schlagplatte und wird von mir oft eingesetzt. Man kann mit dieser Cajon zu allen Musikstilen mitgrooven (irgendeine Stelle liefert den gewünschten Klang - ausprobieren!). Die Cajon ist etwas niedriger gebaut als der Standard (Höhe 44cm). Ich denke, dass dies die Klangvielfalt unterstützt, da die Seitenteile dadurch heller klingen. Die mitgelieferte schwarze Sitzmatte macht das Sitzen angenehm und man erhält dadurch außerdem noch einen bequemen Hocker, wenn's mal wieder eng wird mit den Sitzplätzen ;-)
