finally a 8" model 5-hole for sonor 8" toms
Got these on my birch set on batter side of all toms. I love the sound qualities they give, little more defined than thin flanged hoops. And they will protect the bearing edges too if some noob goes smashing on your drums ;) One minor issue I have had with S-hoops is that the chrome is not too even and thick in the inner side of the hoop and you might even get some minor rust in few years use. Anyway, these 5-hole 8" hoops were not available yet few years ago, happy to own one now.
