Bright tone, lasts long

Good string for steel string guitars. I have not experienced string breaking and played more than 6 months with these. Tone is still so good that no need for replacement. Bending needs little force but that is normal for acoustic guitar.

Good for acoustic

I have an Ovation electro-acoustic guitar, on which this set of strings sound awesome. Not good, but makes the guitar sound better than some much more expensive guitars. It sound well with or without amp. The only issue is, that sometimes the durability is not excellent, I noticed especially the G which seems to deteriorate quickly, but usually not much before all the set requires change.

... wer einen basslosen, drahtig metallischen Sound sucht, findet mit diesen Saiten genau das Richtige. So schrill klang meine Gibson SJ-200 noch nie. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass Saiten so einen (in meinen Ohren) schlechten Sound produzieren können. Die Gitarre tönt in den Mitten und mittleren Höhen extrem lauter und der Bass (E-Saite) wird total kraftlos bzw. fehlt total.
Die Elixir Polyweb Light Acoustic gibt es leider nicht mehr - das wäre das krasse Gegenteil dazu: fetter Bass, ausgewogene, zurückgenommene Mitten und schimmernde Höhen. Jetzt bin ich auf der Suche nach etwas ähnlichem. Die Gibson SJ-200 sind auf jeden Fall schon einmal wesentlich besser als die Rotosound. Auch die D'Addario EJ16 klingen wesentlich schöner und ausgewogener als diese Jumbo-King-Saiten (der Name passt wirklich gar nicht).

Rapport qualité / prix imbattable pour moi. J'avais initialement testé ce jeu car la réputation de Rotosound en matière de cordes (de basses) n'était plus à faire et je n'ai pas été déçu. Voilà la référence qui m'accompagne désormais. Montées sur une Gibson Hummingbird pour utilisation live et studio. Brillance et caractère, solidité... à un prix très intéressant. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de remise par quantité commandée comme c'est le cas des Tru Bronze de la même marque (qui sonnent beaucoup moins bien à mon goût)
