Overheats after a while
It works great, until it doesn't. I have a rather big board that occupies every output of the V16. Only two of my pedals are power hungry, drawing 300mA, but I've connected one of them to two of the 300mA outputs using a current doubler Y-cable, which was included in the package. The other pedal is plugged using an external AC adapter.
Everything works great, very quiet as promised. However, after about 1h of being powered, the V16 overheats and shuts off, after which it turns on again for about 5-10 seconds and then shuts off again. It's simply unusable in a live situation and it's getting very annoying during rehearsals when everyone has to take a sudden 10-15min break to let it cool off. I've even tried to plug both my current hungry pedals using two external AC adapters, but nothing changed. I'm sure this doesn't happen when less outputs are occupied, but a power supply like this is obviously meant for a bigger pedalboard. Therefore, unless you're ok with always playing <30min sessions, it's absolutely trash.
Since I have gigs coming up I've had to order a different power supply, so I went with the Cioks DC7 and 8 expander. From what I've heard it's the real deal. Anyway, I basically wasted 149€ on this weak thing, so don't make the same mistake I did and instead go with a good power supply right away.
What a huge disappointment.
