It works. I had an old premier on my Rogers vintage snare and I always had dampen it a bit while recording with small piece of canvas or toilet paper because of the unwanted overtones. This one rings very purely and my snare has been given a new life!! HIghly recommended. Never thought it could make so much difference. The quick lock thing works!
