Previously Reliable, But Recent Refills Have Been Short-Lived
I’ve used D’Addario humidifiers for some time, but recently I’ve been quite disappointed with the Maintain 3x refill packs. Over the past few purchases, I’ve encountered multiple packs in a row that have had an unexpectedly short functional lifespan. In some cases, the refills only remained effective for a few days before drying out or losing their ability to regulate humidity properly.
Because of this inconsistency, I’ve had to start using additional humidifiers alongside these, simply because I can no longer rely on this product alone to maintain stable humidity levels for my instrument.
This is frustrating, as the product used to be dependable. At the moment, however, the quality seems uneven, and I hope the manufacturer addresses this issue. Until then, I would advise caution, especially if you need a reliable humidification solution.
