Solid strings

I've used Obligatos loads during the years. I play both traditional and classical music, and have found that these have a warm tone to fit both genres. I got the steel E string and it has gone off in 4 months or so. I play professionally so I play a lot. I hope the E would last a bit longer, now it's just gone dodgy and "clicky" and the sound breaks on it all the time.

The Pirastro Obligato strings produce an excellent mellow sound quality and are very consistent over all four strings. I would highly recommend this product.

Imitation of natural gut strings

I play on a French violin from Mirecourt. This string is a really good imitator of the natural gut string, with more resillience, strength and flexibility. I enjoy these strings very much.
