Makes me laugh when I need it

Pure joy, the otamatone is just so funny:-) I work from home, and when the day doesn’t go well, I pick it up, play for a minute and laugh with its funny sound.

I bought the transparent blue one, and it looks great. With a yellow led inside, it might even turn from blue to green.

Anyway, I love it, and I think it’s a perfect gift for someone who likes new sounds. It’s right next to my guitars and basses, a respected new member of the family.

PS: don’t just touch the “fretboard”, but rather press your fingers on it. That’s how it makes sound.

J'ai toujours été curieux de cet instrument. Aussi original que surprenant, il est intéressant à prendre en main. Le son est très particulier, et donne un aspect "jouet" à cet instrument. Cependant, avec un peu de méthode on peut en sortir des mélodies correctes.

Ce qui est moins bon, c'est la solidité globale. L'appui sur le manche pour jouer les notes donne l'impression qu'il se plie. A long terme, je ne sais pas ce que ça donnera. De même, la réactivité à l'appui n'est pas géniale. Il faut parfois appuyer un peu fort pour avoir la note. Et ce qui rend la solidité globale encore plus inquiétante

En somme, une découverte rigolote, mais qui mériterait une structure plus solide.
