MusicNomad Fretboard F-one Oil (MN105)

I decided to start taking proper care of my guitars - including regular cleaning of the fretboard. I was searching for a fretboard oil that would be suitable for all fretboard materials (including ebony).

I first tested the oil with a brand new guitar when changing the factory strings to a new set. I was surprised how dirty the cleaning cloth was after the procedure! The fretboard of even a brand new guitar can apparently be extremely dirty.

Currently, I treat the fretboard with this product whenever I change strings on any of my guitars. In addition to the cleaning effect, I have also heard that the fretboard might endure dry climate conditions better when oiled regularly (especially important to consider, e.g., here in Finland where the ambient humidity can fall below 20 % during the winter).

The F-one oil has pleasant and natural scent in it. It smells a little bit like the peels of a tangerine/mandarin. The scent fades away in a few days after oiling.

The amount of oil needed in cleaning a single fretboard is extremely small and one bottle apparently lasts for a long time.

I can warmly recommend this product to all guitar owners.
