Great for the price

This 1U case is very useful and reasonably priced if you just need some protection for your single rack effects unit, and to carry it short distances. Not suited for carrying long distances, the case itself (plus your rack gear) will be unhealthy for your back and shoulder.

Pros:
- Solid build for a rack bag
- Rack is set back at both ends, so lots of room in case your rack unit's controls stick out
- Enough depth to store cables etc.

Cons:
- Still quite deep, so if you have medium or large hands, plug in all your cables before screwing it in!
- Still quite heavy for its size/rack storage
- Should strap is not long enough for crossbody

Gute Tasche, schwache Rack-Befestigung

Die Auswahl an Rack-Koffern/-taschen mit nur 1HE ist sehr klein. Das Millenium Rack Bag bietet, was ich gesucht habe. Die Tasche ist gut verarbeitet, die streng laufenden Reißverschlüsse werden nach Präparation mit Silikonspray schon leichter laufen. Gurte, Nähte, Material - alles in Ordnung, sogar Gummiunterlagen schützen beim Hinstellen der Tasche. Der etwas "chemische" Geruch verflüchtigt sich sicher und ist nichts im Vergleich dazu, wie solche Taschen vor 15 Jahren gerochen haben.
Leider sind die zwei "Rackwinkel" im Inneren ein Witz. Bei meiner Rag Bag ist nichts verbogen, aber die dünnen und leicht angerosteten Schräubchen mit Längsschlitz und Metallunterlegscheiben aus dem "Rack" holen macht schon mal keinen Spaß. Ich wollte die Schrauben durch ordentliche Rack-Schrauben mit Kreuzschlitz ersetze. Die passen aber vom Gewinde her nicht, weil die Original-Schrauben einfach so dünn sind. Letztlich konnte ich mein 19" Gerät in das Rack Bag einbauen.
Für meine Anwendung müsste das Rag Bag nicht so tief sein, aber dafür kann das Rack Bag nichts. Immerhin hat man damit viel Platz für Kabel.
Die beiden "Deckel" nerven wenn sie geöffnet sind, da sie länger sind als das Rag Bag tief ist. Selbst wenn man sie mit dem angebrachten Klett irgendwie fixieren kann stehen die Deckel hervor. Wenn die wenigstens flexibler wären oder nach unten umgeklappt werden könnten.
