Ich bin eigentlich Gitarrist und spiele seit 4 Jahren Mandoline. Ich habe vor Jahren Jesper bei einem Workshop kennen gelernt und war dort von seiner Art als Gitarrenlehrer sehr beeindruckt und dass er fantastisch Mandoline spielen kann wurde mir dort auch klar. Seine Art Bluegrass Musik zu vermitteln ist in dieser Schule genau so super. Bis ich dieses Buch gekauft habe (vor ca. 4 Monate) lernte ich aus verschiedenen Quellen Bluegrass Tunes bzw. Irish Fiddle Tunes, die ich auch auf der Gitarre spiele. Mehr wollte ich eigentlich nicht, jedoch mit diesem Buch lernt man wirklich Mandoline zu spielen. Jesper geht Stück für Stück auf die Improvisation ein und erklärt sehr verständlich (alles in Englisch) alle Übungen. Es ist viel Theorie, in praktischen und musikalischen Beispielen dargestellt. Wer ein Buch sucht um dieses Instrument zu verstehen, sollte hier zugreifen. Ein Sammelband für zig. Bluegrass Standard Stücke ist dies nicht (gibt es meiner Meinung nach schon genügend)

Ich bin von dieser Schule total begeistert und werde noch sehr lange Zeit mit diesem Buch arbeiten. Voraussetzung: lesen der Tabulatur, Englische Sprache und viel Zeit.

Muy buen libro. Parece un poco contradictorio el aprender a improvisar pero este libro lo consigue. Explica con claridad como comenzar a hacerlo con una mezcla de teoría y pequeñas frases.
ATENCIÓN: no es un libro para iniciarse en la mandolina sino para aquellos que ya saben lo básico (postura, técnica de pua, solfeo)
