Amazing build quality.

I bought this V7 new gen as a cost effective alternative to a new Fender Jazz. I already own a Japanese made 60’s reissue and wanted a modern alternative and the Sire brand kept featuring heavy on reviews. You won’t be disappointed, straight out of the box you notice the amazing build quality, and the fit and finish is absolutely bang on. I had a tick list of features I wanted in a bass for regular gigging, and this has everything, along with the most comfortable neck and body I have ever had in a bass, and it is so well balanced and lightweight. It takes a bit of time to dial in the right sound, but once you get used to the preamp, it is very versatile, and easy to get a good sound for any genre. Apart from setting up the bass to my preference (which was very good out of the box), I had to adjust the tone ring height on the volume knob stack as it turned the volume when adjusting the tone ring, but was easily done. Overall this bass is worth every penny, and is probably a third of the price of a bigger name branded instrument with the same spec sheet. I would highly recommend Sire.
