Great short-scale option

I bought this because, on occasion, my hands are not so keen on the gymnastics of moving up and down the fretboard as they once were on a long scale, so I tried a short-scale.

As a lefty, I thought my options would be limited but I'm really pleased I ordered this. Well finished, rolled edges on a comfortable neck and easy to find a good set-up with, it is a quality bass for the money. The body is fairly well-balanced too.

If I was to be picky in one area, the pickups, through a Fender Rumble 500, need a bit more EQ help than a Fender PJ to get the best out of them. Having said that, I played my bass straight into an Ampeg Rocket 110 (my amp for small sessions now) and the pickups had tone to spare so, depending on your amp set-up, you may well get a tone very quikcly that you can work with.

Après 3 mois d’utilisation je suis conquis . Le son est très bon pour sa taille et elle convient parfaitement aux petites mains et au vieux arthrosé comme moi ( mdr) .
Très bonne facture comme toujours chez Marcus Miller . Des basses conçues par un bassiste et ça se sent . La concurrence du soucis à se faire mais pour moi c’est définitivement Marcus car la gamme gaucher est très étendues contrairement aux autres .

tiene un buen sonido, y buena fabricación. Deberían de variar la pala, las llaves son demasiado grandes en proporción al tamaño. Y una de ellas debería ir por debajo para recortar la madera de la pala , quedaría estéticamente más armoniosa....
