Another great Make Noise module

Really useful as either a rhythm programmer, to manually sequence drum and percussion sequences, or as a traditional clock divider.

As with all Make Noise gear, theres a little bit of a steep learning curve, but soon becomes second nature.

Solid build, nice design. Probably my clock utility of choice now, as it offers so many interesting possibilities.

Die Schaltzentrale meines Modularsynthesizers

Ich habe erst einmal ein wenig Zeit benötigt, um mich in dieses Modul einzuarbeiten. Das umfangreiche, aber etwas kompliziert formulierte Handbuch hat dabei nicht so sehr geholfen, wie ich es mir gewünscht hätte. Zunächst war ich wegen der vielen im Handbuch beschriebenen Tastenkombinationen und Modi von Tempi skeptisch, aber nach ein paar Stunden habe ich Tempi lieb gewonnen. Für die übliche Nutzung von Tempi benötigt man tatsächlich nur sehr wenige Tastenkombinationen und diese sind so intuitiv gestaltet, dass es kaum etwas zu merken gibt.

Und wenn man mal die Bedienung verstanden hat, kann Tempi schon wirklich enorm viel. 6 Clocksignale, jedes mit einem eigen einstellbaren Teiler bzw. Multiplikator der Hauptclock, wobei Teiler bzw. Multiplikatoren eben nicht nur, wie bei den meisten anderen Clock-Modulen in diskreten Schritten wie 2x/3x/4x etc. definiert werden können, sondern dank "Tap-Tempo"-Eingabe und stufenweiser Erhöhung von Clockzyklen pro Zyklus der Hauptclock praktisch frei einstellbar sind.

Dazu bietet das Modul noch die Möglichkeit, jeden Kanal einzeln stumm zu stellen und Kanäle (spannungssteuerbar) miteinander zu vertauschen , was zu noch einmal komplexeren Rhythmen führt. Abgerunded wird das ganze noch mit Presets, zwischen denen ebenfalls spannungsgesteuert umgeschaltet werden kann - das bietet meines Wissens nach sonst kein Clocking-Modul.

Das Modul ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Wer kein Problem damit hat, sich ein paar Tastenkombinationen zu merken und mehr sucht, als einfache Clock-Divider bieten, ist hier genau richtig.
