Quick playing mouthpiece

Usually when I play my King 3B ss or Bachs 16M I use Wicks 7CS or BAchs 6 1/2. I decided to give this mouthpiece a try because it hits somewhere in the middle of Wicks and BAchs mp. The rim is extreme comfortable and the sound is even in middle or high register. I recommend this mp for anyone. Only thing to mention is the quality of work. The signature is quit hard to read and theres some spots on the lacquer.

Great overall mouthpiece, interesting feel

This mouthpiece was quite interesting when I first played it- the centre felt pretty different from the Bachs I'm used to, but overtime I grew into it. Definitely makes everything from the extreme low to extreme high quite easy, without the loss of any tone quality or volume. The response is a little different but you really do get used to this. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a small shank bone mouthpiece on the larger side, as it definitely lets you achieve that big, dark warm sound as well as a brighter sound when pushed, and has a large, comfy rim.

This mouthpiece didn't suit me physically but is very well made and l'm sure will suit the right embashure

Passt sehr gut zur King 3b

Als ich Anfang des Jahres zu einer schönen gebrauchten King 3b gekommen bin, tauchte natürlich gleich die Frage nach dem pasenden Mundstück auf. Zunächst verwendete ich das bis dahin favorisierte Denis Wick 6BS weiter, dessen Spielgefühl ich sehr schätze, das mit der neuen Posaune aber ein bisschen dumpf klang. Das Bach 11C, das beim Kauf dabei war, brachte mehr Höhe und Strahlkraft, aber auch das Gefühl, dass aus dem Instrument noch nicht das Optimum herausgeholt wird. Dieses Gefühl habe ich nun mit dem Bart van Lier. Es gibt einen farbenreichen, nicht zu scharfen Klang in allen Lagen, hohe Töne werden sicher erreicht. Auch abendfüllende Gigs mit 1. Posaune und Solos halte ich konditionsmäßig gut durch. - Der kleine Abzug unter "Verarbeitung" rührt daher, dass das Finish nicht ganz so elegant ist wie bei Denis Wick. Die praktische Verwendbarkeit bleibt davon unberührt, und es wird für mich wohl länger das Mundstück Nr. 1 bleiben.
