Transparent compressor
I bought this to accompany my Genzler Magellan 800. It instantly made the amp sound even better! I use it "always-on" with mellow compression ratio and the sensibility is set so that it only compresses if I dig in harder. Very transparent and easy-to-use compressor! The gain however starts to hiss with even the slightest boost.
If you use batteries, you have to unscrew the bottom and be very careful when changing the battery - the wires and caps holding the contact area for batteries are delicate!
Pros:
+Transparent and seems to "enhance" the sound of my amp
+Very easy to use
Cons:
-The gain starts to hiss when boosting, but I don't use it anyway as this is my "always-on" compressor - for others it might be a problem
