Joyo R-14 Atmosphere Reverb

I had quite high expectations on this effect but I find the sound so bad that I really don't have any use for this pedal. All the sound types sound almost the same, having thin and unnatural vibe and unpleasant metallic tone when using longer decay times. When comparing to other reverb effects I have recently had access to, this is by no means in the same level with equally cheap Flamma FS-02 which sounds just wonderful in comparison and in my opinion the Flamma pedal is a rather decent low-budget option to TC Hall of Fame 2 which I also have. However, Behringer DR600 has same kind of unpleasant and metallic nature in sound that is in this Joyo R-14 Atmosphere. This Joyo pedal also cuts instrument volume level in a disturbing way.

The visual side of the effect is nice with the fancy LED lights. The pedal is so light that the build quality in the long run is something that could possibly be questionable. It is possible to have a sturdy construction in a low-budget pedal as can be seen in the jolly good Joyo D-Seed that comes with a metal case.
