Hinta / laatusuhteeltaan aivan lyömättömät.
Olen enimmäkseen käyttänyt Harley Bentonin 011 kielisettiä mutta näitäkin on tullut laiteltua kitaroihin silloin tällöin.
Eurolla ei paljoa saa mutta hyvä kielet sillä kyllä saa.
En näe mitään järkeä maksaa vähintään viisinkertaista summaa toisesta merkistä kun nämä ajavat täysin saman asian.
Yhtään huonoa tai kuollutta kieltä en ole tuoreeltaan huomannut.
Kielet eivät tumppuunnu kovinkaan nopeasti ja kestävät rankaisua huolella.
Jokaisen kielen muovinen yksityispakkaus tuntuu vähän hassulle, kuluttaa paljon muovia ja täyttää meikäläisen roskikset.
Tähän hintaan en kyllä keksi juuri mitään parannettavaa.

Good basic string set at a fraction of the cost
I have been using 10-46 string sets for years - mainly those manufactured by the "name brands". When I discovered the Harley Benton Value Strings product line (and their amazing price point), I had to try them out.
Pros:
- The sound is on par with the "name brands". I don't personally hear any significant difference.
- The durability of the strings is also similar to that of the name brands. I usually change the strings after 100 hours of playing. At the end of their lifespand, the condition of the strings is very similar to that of the name brands. I occasionally snap the first string (high E), but the frequency of it occurring is similar as in the case of the more expensive string sets.
- The treble strings (first three, E, B, G) are surprisingly corrosion resistant. My experience is that the name brands corrode faster (high-friction dark rust starts to emerge). It is as if there is there some sort of anti-corrosion layer applied on the treble strings.
- The price point is extremely competitive. I could easily afford changing the strings much more frequently.
Cons:
- The treble strings remain slightly "curled" when I unwind them from their packages. By comparison, the name brand strings seem to have better "material memory" in such a way that they become completely straight upon unboxing. Of course, This has no effect on playability.
- The strings appear slightly "multi-colored": it seems as if there is a thin layer of oil on the string surface, which causes a rainbow-like appearance due to optical refraction. Again, this has no effect on playability.
- My guitar has stainless steel frets, and it seems that the fourth string (D) wears out slightly faster than the name brands at those points where the string is in contact with the fret. Maybe the metal used in the wounding is slightly softer in the HB Value Strings (when compared to name brands). This (having a visible/tangible wear in the wounding of the D string) is a good reminder that the strings should be changed.
- String bending on the treble strings is slightly more laborious (when compared to name brands). It is as if the treble strings are slightly heavier than the nominal .010, .013, .017 gauges (I have not measured their thicknessess). I have to apply more force when bending, and the strings feel "slippery" in the sense that they tend to slip away from my fingertip. I notice this phenomenon every time I switch between the HB Value Strings and a string set from a name brand.
Despite the minor disadvantages, the HB Value Strings 10-46 is the string set that I mainly use on my main guitar. I still occasionally switch to a pack of name brand strings (mainly to get that ease of bending), but most of the time I am playing on the Value Strings.
The HB Value Strings is an excellent choice for a budget-savvy player. If you don't have much need to perform string bending (e.g., if you are a strict rhythm guitarist), then there are no downsides in using the product.

Absolute value.
Can't find better strings for the price except maybe before they got price hiked from 1EUR to 1,5EUR
I mostly play D'addarios outside of these and have dabbled in other brands and I can't find big differences. The D'Addarios are definitely brighter and last maybe just a bit longer but not enough to justify the price difference. For rehearsing and practicing, these are just awesome. Why waste more expensive strings.
Haven't found really any glaring quality differences but maybe I've just gotten lucky.
Anyways, you can't really go that wrong even if you don't like 'em. It's only 1,5¤ (at time of writing) just to try.

Halvempaa toimivaa et löydä
Näitä ei ole hinnalla pilattu ja siksi itselläni onkin näitä useampi paketti niin voi aina tarvittaessa nykäistä kitaraan uuden kielen rikkoutuneen tilalle yksintein ja jatkaa soittamista. Studio hommiin voi sitten valita hifimpiä kieliä jos siltä tuntuu mutta soittamiseen nämä ovat kuitenkin ihan passelit niin hinta-/laatusuuhteeltaan kuin keston puolesta. Kestävät yhtä hyvin kuin kalliimmatkin kielet eikä soinnissa ole vikaa.

Kunnon kielet
Olen käyttänyt kitaroissa sekä harjoitteluun että keikkailuun. Tähän hintaan ei harmita kun soolon aikana katkee kieli, voi vaihtaa vaikka joka settien välillä uuden setin. Tähän ei kyllä ole tarvetta, koska ovat yhtä kestäviä kuin muutkin kielet. Soittotuntumaltaan ehkä jämäkämmät kuin jotkut saman paksuiset, siksi olen siirtynyt 9-settiin. Ernie Ballin, DR:n, Pyramidien ja GHS:ien jälkeen olen jo vuosia soittanut näillä ja soitan jatkossakin, hintalaatusuhde on tosiaan lyömätön.

Halpaa!
Itse kotisoittajana en äänessä huomaa eroja näiden ja viisi kertaa kalliimpien kanssa, nämä varmaankin kuolleentuvat nopeammin, mutta tähän hintaan kielet vaihtaa vaikka kerran viikossa :)

Hintaansa nähden ihan hyvät kielet! Ääni on kirkas, pysyy vireessä ja kestää pitkään. Kotikäyttöön, treenaamiseen, jopa jos täyttyy uusia useammin niin ei tarvi pankkia ryöstää. Suosittelen!

Miksi ostaa muita??
Nyt vimeiset pari vuotta vetäny näillä kielillä ja ei mitään eroa muihin kalliimpiin ja "parempiin" merkkeihin, halvat ja kestävät. Tyhmä maksaa liikaa, kaikki kenelle suositellut HB kieliä ovat olleet samaa mieltä.

It's all in the name
Strings are strings. Is there a difference between this, and, say, Slinkies? Maybe, but whether one's better than the other is entirely subjective. What is certainly not subjective is that these are just great value and you get exactly what you're looking for.

Hintaan nähden erinomaiset kielet
Mielestäni tuotetta arvostellessa hinta on aika olennainen tekijä, ja tässä tapauksessa hinnalla saa uskomattoman paljon arvoa. Käytän 80% ajasta näitä, varsinkin treenatessa, koska kieliin saa upotettua aivan kohtuuttomia summia jos lähtee isojen merkkien perään. Nämä kestää aivan yhtä hyvin kuin muut, kannattaa ehdottomasti testata ettei turhaan tuhlaa rahojaan isoihin merkkeihin. Pari settiä näitä löytyy nytkin kitaralaukusta.
Laadun olen todennut olevan yhtä hyvää kuin joissain useamman kerran kalliimmissa seteissä ja vuosien varrella on tullut säästettyä varmaan aika merkittävä summa. Toki äänityksiin etc. voi joku haluta erityiset kielet mikä on aivan ymmärrettävää, mutta day-to-day käytössä näillä pärjää aivan hyvin.
