Great performance for great price!
I've been playing with passive pickups all the years, and i got an idea to try out active bass. I looked for a cheap bass, for testing, and found this one.
The first one i ordered, was broken when took it out from box. Thats not an issue of Harley Benton or Thomann, but had a chance to take a look of that instrument, and it looked really really cool!
Thomann sended me a new one, and it came as it should be. Fast unpacking with hands shaking, quick tuning and i did plug the bass to amplifier. And damn, that bass sounded great! Been playing it couple months, and really love it. Also i've been using it in a couple of gigs, and it fits in to my playstyle and genre perfectly.
Because of the Thunderbird-styled body, the weightbalance is quite odd, but i think it is not the problem of this bass only. And finding hardcase for this seems to be quite hard..
But overall, i would really recommend this bass to anyone, who is thinking to try out active bass, or just like that kind of bassmodels!
