This product drives me NUTS

I like cheap and crappy plastic nuts.
I like the sharp corners and how the strings barely fit into the slots. I like how nowhere is written the exact gauge of strings these are made for.
I especially like how my nut got snapped in half right away even though i was using superglue.
But at least the action was fine and it looks decent. Though i need to repair this one and file both ends flush with the neck because it's wider than the nut slot itself.

For very little money you get a very usable Jazz/Precision Bass nut which in my case was definitely a superior replacement part. Just as a small note: if your previous nut is very thin you may need to file the nut slot up towards the headstock until the piece fits. Now a great fit and handles a couple different tunings from standard down to drop C well on my Jazz style Bass.
