Fine cheap intrument

I have nothing bad to say about this electric violin. I'm teaching myself to play the violin and bought this as a starter instrument so I'm not the most qualified reviewer, but this works fine for me. Pegs don't slip and the violin holds tuning well. After first few days I have only had to use the fine tuners to adjust tuning a little from time to time.
I mostly play with headphones and my husband says he can't hear a sound downstairs while I'm playing upstairs so I believe you could play quite freely in apartment buildings even in evenings.
I switched the strings straight away (to pirastro tonica) but I'm using the bow that came with the violin and after a good amount of rosin it plays well. The screw on the bow is easy to turn to loosen and tighten the hairs.

A great value for the money

I bought this little violin as a complete beginner so I could learn quietly in my apartment. It's great for that! It stays in tune relatively well, and it's actually pretty good quality.
It's louder than I expected, but that's just the way the acoustics work. All in all, I would highly suggest this violin to someone who is learning.

I can't attest to the sound quality, because I almost never plug it in, and I wouldn't know good sound quality anyway.

Excelent instrument

I am very pleased with this electric violin.
I am a mid-level player on the acoustic violin and I cannot tell the difference in sound releative to the accoustic violin.
When amplified, this violin allows the player to hear himself as if he was in the audience which greatly helps to identify and improve our style.
Also, I can now record in any environment regardless of background noise which was my main motivation to buy this instrument.
The strings that came with it are also good!
I recommend!

Très bon rapport qualité/prix

Très étonnant...après avoir joué sur un violon acoustique.
Je reprends à 58 ans, en ayant commencé à 6 ans.
Un conseil, commander un jeu de corde de bonne qualité.
Idem pour une colophane.
Sans oublier l'épaulère.
Mais je suis bluffé par le résultat.
À ajouter un haut parleur afin de partager....mais ça me donne envie d'investir dans un instrument de meilleure qualité et bientôt un archet en composit.
Société tres à l'écoute qui de plus vous mets en relation avec un technicien des instruments à cordes...
Aucun regret... je recommande vivement surtout pour un instrument de musique...merci
