Harley Benton MA-500 VS Bluegrass Series

I bought it, because I wanted a 8-string electric mandolin with a solid body, as I’ve had 4-stringed (Fender & Epiphones) ones before. Build quality is pretty much standard Harley Benton, very good for the price. It will need setting up, from time to time and the factory string-set is one of the weak spots. Neck is quite narrow, so players with big fingers, might experience some difficulty playing the instrument. Other than that, is does the job. I might chance the pickups in the future, as these are weak with volume, but it’s not a deal-breaker, at least for me..
