I wanted locking tuners for my Ibanez AS93ZW guitar to replace the factory originals.

I like locking tuners because changing strings is faster, easier.

These Gotoh SG381-04 MG-T Locking 3L/3R G locking tuners are very high quality and good looking.

I ended up with these because:
- Very high quality tuners
- Good looking
- Excellent Japanese quality assurance
- The price is right
- They do what they are supposed to do, i.e. they stay in tune, are durable, are easy to use and changing strings, tuning is easy and fast.

I can't find anything to complain about.
If you are considering buying these for your Ibanez AS93 model, these will go straight into place.

Excellent machine-heads. Look classy and function perfectly - gears have been flawless on all six. These are a quality above cheaper stuff available on Amazon / Ali Bazaar, etc...and they feel it!

These are the 'Modern' (- they fit 10mm headstock holes) and have the DIAGONAL screw-bracket. Get the identical SG301-04 MG-T Locking 3L/3R G tuners for the "6 O'Clock" screw placement.

Very reliable, gorgeous looking tulip-style tuners and a significant upgrade to raise the quality of many low-to-mid tier instrument...maybe some high-end ones too.

Looks great and easy to fit

I was replacing the original machine heads on my Freshman guitar, and liked the idea of a locking set. I needed to drill a small hole in the guitar head to take the screws and after that they fitted without difficulty. The guitar stays in tune and the gold finish looks very smart.
