Great replacement!

I bought this to replace de original throw off of my old Ludwig Supraphonic snare, and it was a perfect fit. The mechanism is very sturdy, well built and better than the original one. The chrome finish is perfect, no flaws.

Sturdy, but not smooth. Good at this price point.

Bought this as an upgrade for an old Yamaha snare. It seems solid and nothing about the build suggest that it won´t survive years of abuse. It´s not a smooth throw-off, although I suspect it will loosen up a bit over time. Don´t expect it to perform anywhere close to something ultra sturdy and smooth like Trick or Sonor (Dual Glide), but it´s good for what it is.

Very good but could be a bit smoother

For the price it's a very very good throw-off system and is built to last. Like the title suggests, the lever could be a little bit smoother but once its on the snare itself it is only a minor detail.
