Great value for money

The violin is great for the price, came ready to use, all set-up, even close to be in-tune after the journey from Germany to England. I do not give it 5 stars in sound and quality only because it's an entry-level student violin. But it may take you all the way up to even grade 5 ABRSM here in the UK. You should think about the more expensive (about 50% more) Gewa Ideale VL2 as an alternative. But, as you need to upgrade later anyway, it might be better to start with this, the VL1 and go for something much better than both VL1 or VL2 later.

my wife wanted to learn the violin. we bought a cheap one first from a local store and it sounded aweful. so, we ordered this and it sounds mesmorizing!

Premetto che non sono un violinista e che ho preso il violino per togliermi un capriccio, considerando il fatto che finalmente son riusciuto a trovarlo mancino.
Lo strumento è veramente bello da vedere, e il set di accessori forniti molto completo. Ottima e comoda la custodia.
La mentoniera e la custudia a mio avviso presentavano delle leggere tracce di utilizzo come fosse stato un b-stock, tuttavia non pregiudicano assolutamente lo strumento in se.
Il suono mi sembra buono e definito.
Sicuramente, visto il prezzo, un'ottima scelta per chi come me è principiante su questo meraviglioso strumento.
