Quite versatile instrument, yet in need of a bit modernizing
The instrument works amazing as a bass and rarely needs any post processing other than compressing to fit right into a mix. Really versatile mic settings and the low cut option makes it work as a long long baritone guitar. The bridge is something I would want to be a bit more modern but it does the job. The let down is the tuners, which are the vintage fender tuners. For what I know they're the guitar tuners and not suited for the thick strings you'll be using for this instrument. More modern tuners, for example locking, would work wonders for this guitar. But the finish and the feel is great and I haven't stumbled upon any harsh spots or imperfections on the body and neck. Overall I would recommend this but mind the tuners!
