I didn't expect it to have great headroom, but there isn't way to get clean sound at all from this amplifier. Also distortion is very harsh and if you turn up the volume playing chords becomes impossible because your guitar tone is just mush.
Although I enjoy playing ''I wanna be your dog'' and other proto-punk songs through it. If I turn volume down and couple it with reverb and tremolo pedal i can get something like Link Wray's ''Rumble'' tone.
I have to admit amp is really beautiful. Quality is good, it is finished well, it's pretty sturdy.
It's one trick pony. I recommend it only for decorative use or for bedroom punkers.
