Surprisingly good instrument

The Epiphone J-180 LS Ebony is basically a big, flashy acoustic that actually sounds as good as it looks. It’s got that classic jumbo sound: loud, warm, and full, but it still stays clear when you strum hard. Perfect guitar for songwriting for hours.

The neck feels really comfortable and easy to get around on, the factory setup is surprisingly good. Plugged in, it sounds natural too.
The star inlays are a love-it-or-hate-it thing, but to me they are cool.
If you want a fun, inspiring acoustic with big sound and personality, this one is awesome.

Epiphone J- 180 LS Ebony

Inspired by Gibson, ja, eine gelungene Copy der kleinen Jumbo J 180 LS Ebony von Gibson, mit den Star- Inlay's der berühmten Everly Brothers, allerdings ohne die doppelten Pickguards. Geliefert und gut verpackt, im schönen Koffer. Sehr gute und makellose Verarbeitung, auch die Saitenlage
gut eingestellt. Meiner Meinung hat die J- 180 LS ein ausgewogenes Klangverhalten und der Hals lässt sich sehr gut spielen. Ein LR Baggs Element Bronze VTC ist mit an Bord, aber dazu kann ich noch nichts sagen.
Mein Fazit: Epiphone ist es zusammen mit Gibson gelungen eine wirklich
ansehnliche Copy des berühmten Vorbild zu präsentieren.
Kommt zwar nicht ganz an meine Gibson Hummingbird ran, aber für diesen Preis sollte ist es eine Überlegung wert. Macht jedenfalls große Freude darauf zu spielen.

Super guitare

Je cherchais depuis longtemps une guitare format Jumbo, mais moins volumineuse que les Super Jumbo qui gênaient un peu mon jeu.
La taille de celle-ci est parfaite, c'est donc une petite jumbo mais qui a tout d'une grande!
Certes, les basses sont peut-être un peu moins profondes que celles de ses grande soeurs, mais franchement, une fois amplifiée, on ne s'en rend plus compte.
Le son est magnifique, rond, chaud, les aigus sont cristallins, limpides, on sent que les essences de bois y sont pour quelque-chose!
La prise en main est super aisée, elle se cale parfaitement sur ma jambe.
J'apprécie vraiment la qualité des mécaniques Epiphone Deluxe, l'accordage est hyper précis et ne bouge pas d'un poil.
Et dernier point, plus personnel, concerne le look dont la sobriété est je trouve très classe.
En conclusion, si vous cherchez une guitare qui envoie sans être trop imposante à jouer, en particulier pour les petits gabarits, je pense qu'elle est faite pour vous.

sehr hochwertig und gut verarbeitet - mit Tragemöglichkeit

Ich habe diese Gitarre als Weihnachtsgeschenk (für ihren Geburtstag kam es zu spät an) für meine Tochter gekauft und kann daher nicht direkt aus der eigenen Nutzungserfahrung sprechen. Allerdings macht das Produkt einen sehr hochwertigen und gut verarbeiteten Eindruck. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich der schöne Klang, der es schon jetzt zu etwas Besonderem macht. Und noch ein wichtiger Grund weshalb wir uns für dieses Modell entschieden haben, ist die Möglichkeit, die Gitarre umzuhängen, das wollte sie so gerne. Ich freue mich schon darauf, zu sehen, wie es meiner Tochter gefallen wird!
