Alkuperäiselle varsin uskollinen, mutta kukkarolle huomattavasti ystävällisempi versiointi Gibsonin halutusta Custom Shopin Dave Grohl-mallista. Väri luonnossa kauniin metallinhohtoinen ja alkuperäiseen nähden ominaisuuksistakaan ei ole tingitty. Erittäin laadukas ja hyvin resonoiva keskipalkillinen 335-johdannainen ja hyvin osin varustettu. Hintaansa ei voisi enempää toivoa.

I ordered this guitar right about when it launched in March. It should’ve arrived after 7 weeks. But there were countless apologies of it being postponed (not thomanns fault). Finally it arrived after half a year of waiting. I was really excited.

Sadly the neck has one matte spot (right around 10-12 fret) which is not really comfortable but I didn’t want to send it back after that long waiting time. Also I’m not really pleased with the pretty big price drop since launch (about $400). The price variation during the half year since the order was also not minimal.

Overall I wish I’d pick it up more often but it just doesen’t feel that great.. because of the neck and because of everything that happened with the order.

So glad Epiphone decided to release this fantastic guitar, not only does it look good but it's so nice to play and the weight is not bad at all. Thomann service is one of the best they kept me informed all the way.

Bisher war ich bestens bedient mit meiner HSS Strat, meiner Telecaster sowie der einen oder anderen akustischen Gitarre.
Und nun Dave Grohls Triny Lopez Umbau.
Bisher war an dieses Instrument nicht zu denken ohne eine seiner Nieren anzubieten. Aber nun gibt es das Epiphone Modell.
War aber auch schwer dran zu kommen. Seit März drauf gewartet.
Die Wartezeit hat sich voll gelohnt.
Ich habe immer ein breites Grinsen im Gesicht wenn ich das Instrument aus dem Koffer nehme. Einfach wow!!
Die Verarbeitung ist als sehr gut zu bezeichnen. Die lackierte Oberfläche zeigt keine Nebel, Schatten oder sonstige Fehler.
Das Binding ist zu 95% bündig. Ich bin Schreiner , von daher ein Bündigkeits- Fetischist. Also ist es jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Die Bundstäbchen sind sauber und stehen nirgends über.
Das Griffbrett ist schön dunkel. Beim nächsten Saitenwechsel noch etwas ölen ( sehr trocken) und dann ist es nochmal schöner.
Der Hals fühlt sich auch sauber an auf der ganzen Strecke.Er is etwas kräftiger, nicht zu groß aber man hat da schon etwas mehr Fleisch.
Die Einstellung der Gitarre war ok.
Habe den Hals ganz leicht verstellt weil der mir "zu gerade" war. Und die Saitenlage etwas tiefer gestellt. Der G, H und E Saite habe ich noch etwas bei Intonation geholfen.

Der Klang ist,.. auf jeden Fall nicht tot wie es ein Kollege hier geschrieben hat.
Ganz im Gegenteil, die Gitarre hat eine tolle Resonanz, der Ton schwingt spürbar durchs ganze Instrument, da ist richtig Leben!
Tonal deckt die DG 335 ja im Prinzip alles ab was dir einfällt. Clean, gecruncht oder Distortion macht sie super und beisst richtig zu.
Saubere Saitentrennung trotzdem bei Hi Gain.
Clean ein schöner luftiger Ton mit exzellentem Sustain.

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn,..
Die Optik, die Verarbeitung, der Sound, mein Grinsen, der Koffer,..

Kann nur 5 Sterne da lassen.
