Daddario EXL170BT Balanced Tension

Olen käyttänyt D'Addarion XL kielisettejä jo neljällä vuosikymmenellä. Tämä balansoitu tarkoittaa kielten jännitteen olevan lähempänä toisiaan kuin ns. normaali setissä eli soittotuntuma ja soundi on tasaisempi eri kielten välillä. Tämä tarkoittaa lähinnä A- ja E-kielten paksuusmuutoksia; 085 --> 080 ja 100 --> 107.

I've tried a lot of different strings and the last five sets I've bought have been these, so it seems I've found the perfect strings for me and my main bass (Stringray 4 H special). These feel really balanced to play and can handle drop tuning well. Like all strings, these sound the best for the first few days, but unlike many others I've tried, these also sound pretty good for a long time. I tend to change strings when they feel like spaghetti when playing (I pluck very hard), but these still sound good (in mellow dark way) just before changing.
