personal prefrence
strings is really a personal prefrence, the strings that will fit you are the once that you have grown as a player with.
i'm not saying that you have to use the once you have always used, Experiment! all different metal combinations and gauges have different properties.
why i like these strings:
i have always played d'addario
these have the bending feel of 9's but requier the same amount of bending as 10's to reach the right
and they dont have (i feel) the "artificial" sound that steel strings have
the only downside is that these ware more than "modern" strings do but thats understandable since these are made of a softer metal

Oikea vintage
Sähkökitaran kielet olivat alunperin nikkeliä. Myöhemmin alettiin valmistaa niklattuja kieliä. Nämä ovat kokonaan nikkeliä, soundi on hieman tummempi ja tasaisempi kuin teräskielissä, eli poistuu sellainen ylimääräinen terävyys.
