i was sceptic about getting this one bcus bareknuckle shows nothing about stats but i can tell u if u search something like a bareknuckle aftermath than this is for you the output and sound is simular

Guter High-Gain pickup zu attraktivem Preis

Der Pickup hat laut Hersteller einen Keramikmagneten - Hier ist die Artikelbeschreibung falsch.
Ein fetter Brocken, der sich verzerrt am wohlsten fühlt. Trotzdem ist der Name meiner Meinung nach etwas irreführend. Der Humbucker ist laut aber nicht so extrem und agressiv wie manch anderer ultra high gain pickup. Der Klang ist relativ ausgeglichen, leichte Mittenanhebung aber noch keine Hupe. Genügend Höhen, ordentlich Bässe aber dennoch ausreichend tight für moderne Distortionsounds. DIe Klarheit bei Cleansounds könnte besser sein, aber da machen sich Alnico Magneten definitiv besser.
Was mir sehr gut gefällt sind die Split Sounds. Aufgrund des lauten und runden Charakters wird es dabei nicht dünn aber herrlich klar. Er versteht sich hierbei auch sehr gut in Kombinaton mit dem True Grit am Hals, Flexibilität ohne Ende.
Überraschend gut finde ich, dass sich die Nebengeräusche für einen passiven high-gain humbucker sehr in grenzen halten. Wo Bare Knuckle drauf steht, ist auch Qualität drin.
Ich suchte einen hochwertigen high-gain allrounder der nicht die Welt kostet und wollte mal was anderes probieren als Seymour Duncan und Dimarzio. Und der Pickup darf bleiben, ich bin sehr zufrieden.
Man beachte: Es handelt sich bei Boot Camp um die Allround Budget-Linie von Bare Knuckle, welche im Pro-Bereich sehr spezialisierte Pickups und viele Signature Modelle herstellen. Wer etwas spezielleres will, etwa extrem agressive Hochmitten oder laser-tighte Bässe muss auch zu einem spezielleren Tonabnehmer greifen und ggf. wesentlich mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen. Als Alrounder zur Aufwertung eines Mittelklasse Instruments unengeschränkt zu empfehlen!
