Good alternative for 57.
I use the I-5 to record guitars. has lots more "Open" sound to it compared to the industry standard 57. but not "flobby"/"spongy" sound at all. some might think the sound is bit "harsh" but that can be fixed with simple EQ adjustment.
mixed with SM57 sounds amazing if youre into dual57 thing.
