Good case for 1/4 violin - with careful modification

The case works well for my 7 year old daughter and her 1/4 sized violin. The case is sturdy with three latches. The internal holder can be adjusted (attached with velcro). Comes with a nice fitted blanket for the violin.

The bow holders are too far spaced to hold 1/4 bows (both her bows "flops out"). We have worked around this this by rolling up A4 felt sheets to extend the holders.

The ABS plastic clips that attaches the included straps to the case sticks out, and digs into her back when carried. I have purchased some double side tap and a cheap yoga mat to add some padding.

Overall, choices are limited when it comes to 1/4 violin hard cases. Hopefully this one will last until she gets a 3/4 or full sized violin when there is much more choice.
