Great strings

These strings are really great for motivating kids and they sound nice. They were really easy to put on the ukulele. The included booklet is great contains some instructions and a song with notes coloured according to the strings. The stickers were also a nice surprise.

Es una idea muy buena de proponer tonos de color distintos para asociarlos por sinestesia a tonos de sonido distintos: por aprendizaje y porque los más pequeños simpatizan más con el instrumento (ya no es algo serio y aburrido).

El aspecto lúdico se ve respaldado por la calidad de construcción: el tono es bueno y el tacto es muy agradable sobre todo para quienes todavía no tienen los dedos endurecidos. obviamente no se puede usar la técnica de tapping pero sí permiten todas las técnicas clásicas o flamencas.

Recomendable.

Rundum zufrieden

Meine Tochter hat seit diesem Schuljahr Ukulele-Unterricht in der Schule, und die Lehrerin markierte die Noten/Tabs von Anfang an farbig. Passend dazu machte sie den Kindern kleine farbige Aufkleber unter die Saiten. Ein kleiner Trick, um den Kindern die anfangs recht schwere Koordination zwischen Tabs und Saiten zu erleichtern.

Ich stieß dann vor kurzem auf diese Saiten, und siehe da: Das Farbschema stimmt mit dem überein, das von der Lehrerin gewählt wurde. Ein Zufall wird es wohl kaum sein (gibt es etwa sowas wie einen Saiten-Farbstandard?). Die Zuordnung ist: G - grün, C - rot, E - gelb, A - blau.

Die Saiten verrichten jetzt auf einer Baton Rouge V1-S ihren Dienst und hören sich wirklich gut an. Der Ton ist rund und hell, aber ohne zu klirren. Eigentlich ist die Baton Rouge meine ausrangierte Dritt-Ukulele, und ich hatte sie nicht vermisst, seit ich sie meiner Tochter vermacht hatte. Aber seit die neuen Saiten drauf sind, greife ich mir die Baton Rouge doch ab und zu mal wieder und schrammel ein wenig drauf rum. Es waren zwar vorher auch Aquilas drauf, aber neue Saiten sind doch immer wieder was schönes, und diese Saiten sind eindeutig nicht schlechter als „normale“ Nylguts.

Ob es meine Tochter beim Spielen etwas genützt hat, kann ich nicht sagen, aber es war auf jeden Fall eine kleine Zusatzmotivation, das Instrument öfter in die Hand zu nehmen. Ich würde die Saiten also auf jeden Fall empfehlen, insbesondere wenn ohnehin ein Saitenwechsel ansteht.

Toll für Kinder

Kosten zwar recht viel. Aber man bekommt den sehr guten Sound der Nylgut Saiten schön farbig für Kinder. Macht es sehr viel einfacher zu lernen. Sehr zu empfehlen.
